Baptisms at Saint Julia Catholic Church are scheduled on a regular basis throughout the Liturgical year. Please note we do not schedule baptisms in December due to preparations for Our Lady of Guadalupe Festival, so please plan accordingly.

All parents seeking baptism for their child are to be registered at the parish and attend a preparation course for each child they bring forward to the Sacrament. The Baptismal Preparation Course, consisting of 1 session, provides a time of reflection, sharing, and learning about the graces of Baptism. This will include, but is not limited to, topics such as: our call to have our children baptized, the importance of naming, the role of the Godparents, the symbols at Baptism, and the logistics of the Baptism ceremony.

A copy of the Godparent/Sponsor form should be filled out by your chosen Godparent and returned to the parish office at least 1 month prior to the baptismal ceremony. The form can be picked up and dropped off at the parish office Tuesday through Friday during regular business hours 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM.

The schedule for the 2023 Baptismal Preparation classes and Baptismal Ceremonies are now available. Stop by the office during office hours for dates.
